Fandango was approved by the German Verband in Neumunster in October 2002 and was imported to the US in March, 2003. Fandango made his public debut in this country at Creek Hollow Ranch in Ramona, California on July 1, 2003 at the USDF/Cosequin Breeders' Championships Series. He finished first in 2000 colts, and was the 3 & Under Colt Champion.

Fandango made his Eventing debut at Twin Rivers Horse Trials in October 2004. In his show debut under saddle, Fandango completed his American Trakehner Association performance requirement and became a fully approved stallion. He went double clean in both cross country and show jumping, finishing 6th out of over 40 horses in a very competitive division.

Due to his natural ability and love of jumping, Fandango continued to event in 2005 and had a very successful year at training level. He ended the year with a 7th in his first Preliminary at Galway Downs as a 5 year old!

We were prepared and excited to start 2006 with great aspirations. Then his rider went and broke her hand! Therefore, Fandango concentrated on Dressage for 2006. After his debut show at DG Bar Ranch, he impressed us all with 5 solid tests including a 76.111% at First Level 4 and show high point! Fandango continued in this winning way for the 2006 dressage season in both first and second level. He finished in the top 20 for USDF in First level, was the ATA first level horse of the year and Second level reserve horse of the year.

In early 2007, Fandango sustained an injury in his stall that caused an abrupt end to his promising career. He is sound and happy at this time but will have to let his offspring speak for him and that they are!

His first crops of foals received 8's and 9's at their voluntary ATA inspection! They are taking after their sire showing tremendous athletic ability and movement to die for!

Fandango's oldest get are now out competing and winning in eventing and dressage. We are excited to see what the future holds for these talented athletes.
